The most convenient way to reach Rusinga is by private air charter directly to Rusinga’s airstrip.

The airstrip is adjacent to the lodge’s impressive entrance, where you are greeted with ice-cold towels and refreshing, homemade lemonade.

There are a number of daily scheduled flights from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Kisumu where we can meet you and drive you to the lodge.  Although a 3-hour journey, en route you’ll see impressive Cambrian rock formations as well as enjoying a 45-minute ferry ride across the lake.
